Signing in
You will have received an invitation email when your account was set up. Open it, choose a password, and you are signed in.
When you would use this: the first time you join, or any time you need to sign back in after being signed out.
Steps: open the invitation link, set a password, and confirm it. From then on, go to the sign-in page and enter your email and password. If your firm requires two-step sign-in, you will also be asked for a code — either from an authenticator app or emailed to you, depending which way you set it up — see "Two-factor authentication" for how that works.
Forgotten password: use "Forgot your password" on the sign-in page. A reset link is emailed to you; it works once and expires after a short time, so request a fresh one if it has gone stale.
Expired invitation: invitation links last 7 days. If yours has expired, ask whoever manages your account — an Owner or Admin at your firm — to send a new one from the Staff screen.
A check after several wrong attempts: if a number of sign-ins from where you are have already failed, you are shown "For your security, confirm you are a person" and a short verification box before you can try again — this happens whether or not the password you are about to enter is right, so seeing it is not itself a sign anything is wrong. Complete it and sign in as normal. "Too many attempts. Wait fifteen minutes, then try again" means exactly that — there is nothing to do but wait.
What happens next: once you are signed in you land on your dashboard, with the sections of the menu that your role and your firm's plan make available to you. Different colleagues can see a different menu; that is expected, not a fault.
When it refuses: "That email address and password do not match an account" means exactly that — check for a typo, or use "Forgot your password". If you are told your account is deactivated, that is not something you can undo yourself; ask an Owner or Admin to reactivate it.
