When the portal says no
Two different refusals look similar but mean different things, and knowing which one you hit is the fastest way to get unblocked.
"You do not have permission": your role does not include the capability the screen needs. Roles are deliberately narrow — a Contractor, for instance, is not shown pricing a Member would see, and a Viewer cannot change records it can read. This is not a bug to report; it is the product doing what it was set up to do.
A page that looks like it does not exist: on purpose, a record you are not allowed to see behaves the same as one that was never there, rather than telling you it exists but is off-limits. If a colleague can open something and you cannot, that is a permission difference, not evidence the link is broken.
What to do: ask whoever manages staff and roles at your firm — usually an Owner or Admin — to either grant you the capability directly, or move you to a role that already includes it. They do this from Setup → Roles (to change what a role can do) or Setup → Staff (to change which role you hold). Say exactly what you were trying to do and what the screen told you; that is enough for them to find the right permission.
If nothing seems to be missing but the product still misbehaves: that is a fault, not a permission gap — use Contact Veilux (under Support) to raise it with us directly, or ask an Owner or Admin to do so on your behalf.
