Meetings
A meeting scheduled with a customer or a lead — who is invited, where, and when — kept as its own record rather than living only in an email thread or somebody's calendar.
When you would use this: booking a call or a meeting about a customer's or a lead's work, and afterwards recording what came of it.
Statuses: Scheduled, once booked; Needs an outcome, once its end time has passed and nobody has said what happened — this is worked out from the clock, not a status anyone sets; then Completed or No-show, whichever you record; or Cancelled. A meeting that has been rescheduled to later reverts to Scheduled and stops needing an outcome.
Scheduling one: a title, who it is about (a customer or a lead), who is invited (contacts, and — where you may see them — staff, projects and open tickets to attach it to), where (in person, by phone, or over video through whichever provider your firm has connected), a timezone, and a duration. Invitees get an invitation with a calendar file and reminders; the list of who may be invited is limited to what your own permissions already let you see, so a role without the customer list cannot use a meeting to go and find one.
Recording the outcome: once a meeting's time has passed, mark it Completed or No-show — this is the "needs an outcome" state resolving itself, not a separate screen.
Also here: "Open in calendar" shows the same meetings alongside everything else on your diary — there is no second, competing calendar.
A narrower view: everybody sees meetings they host or are invited to; only some roles see the whole firm's diary. Choosing a different host when scheduling needs that same wider read.
When it refuses: no Meetings item in your menu means your firm has not switched meetings on, or you lack the permission — ask an Owner or Admin.
