Calendar

Everything with a date, in one grid — invoices, estimates, proposals, contracts, projects, tasks, meetings and reminders — plus anything you add yourself.

When you would use this: to see what is due, meeting or expiring on a given day without opening every list that might hold a date.

Views: month, week or day, each remembering the date you were looking at as you switch.

Sources: a toggle per kind of item — Events, Tasks, Projects, Invoices, Estimates, Proposals, Contracts, Meetings, Reminders — so you can narrow the grid to only what you care about right now. Only the sources your role and your firm's plan actually offer appear as toggles at all; the rest are simply not there to turn on.

Adding your own event: with the further permission for it, add anything the grid does not already produce for you — a personal reminder, a call, anything with just a date and a title. Editing or deleting one you added is yours alone; you cannot change an event somebody else on your team created.

Customer names on hover or in an event's detail appear only if you separately hold the permission to read customers — without it, a calendar item still shows, but without naming who it is for.

A narrower view: none of this depends on your reporting permissions at all — every member of staff reaches the calendar; what changes is only which sources are available to toggle and whether you may add your own events.

When it refuses: a source you expect missing from the toggle list means your role or your firm's plan does not offer that kind of item — ask an Owner or Admin. No "Add" control means you do not hold the permission to write your own calendar events.
