Contracts, and signing one

Agreements this firm has sent you to read and, where one is needed, sign — directly in the portal, without printing anything.

When you would use this: to read the terms you are being asked to agree to, and to record your signature on them.

Steps to sign: open "Contracts", choose the one waiting on you, and read it in full — it is what you are agreeing to. Use "Sign this contract", enter your name, and draw your signature where asked. Once submitted it cannot be redrawn; the contract's own page then shows who signed it and when.

What each state means: waiting for your signature, signed (with the name and date recorded), or — where the firm has recorded it another way, such as a wet-ink copy — marked signed on their side, shown the same way but without a drawn signature of yours attached.

What happens next: a signed contract stays on this page exactly as signed — reopening it later shows the same text and signature, not a freshly rendered copy that could drift from what you actually agreed to.

When it refuses: a contract cannot be signed twice, and one the firm has withdrawn or replaced will say so instead of offering the signing panel. "Contracts" missing from your menu means this firm does not use them with its customers.
