Your invoices, and paying one
Every invoice this firm has raised against your company, what is outstanding, and a way to pay online.
When you would use this: to check what you owe, download a copy for your own records, or settle a bill.
Steps to pay: open "Invoices", choose the one you want, and select "Pay". You are taken to a secure payment page to complete it; once it goes through you are brought back here and the invoice updates to show what, if anything, is still outstanding. Where the firm allows a partial payment, you can choose to pay a different amount instead of the full balance — the amount you can pay is capped at what is actually outstanding.
What each status means: an invoice can be open (something is still owed), paid in full, or overdue past its due date. The balance shown is always worked out fresh from what has been paid against it, so it is never out of date.
Other ways to pay: if the firm accepts bank transfer, its details and the reference to use are printed on the invoice itself.
What happens next: a successful payment is recorded straight away; the invoice's balance updates immediately, and a receipt is available through the same payment page.
When it refuses: "the payment could not be started" usually means a temporary problem — try again shortly. Invoices are never hidden by permission the way other sections can be: if you owe money, you can always see the bill for it.
