Proposals

A longer-form pitch for work — the case for it, not only the price — that this firm has prepared for you.

When you would use this: reviewing a piece of work being proposed to you before it is agreed, in more detail than a plain estimate gives.

Steps: open "Proposals" and select one to read it in full. Where the firm has enabled it, you accept or decline the same way you would an estimate; some proposals are informational only and carry no decision at all — the page tells you which applies.

What happens next: an accepted proposal is the firm's cue to proceed, and it may go on to raise an estimate or invoice from it, which then appears in your own lists as usual.

When it refuses: "Proposals" missing from your menu means this firm does not use them with its customers, or none have been sent to you yet.
