Staff
Your firm's own people, and what they can reach: name, email, role, when they last signed in, and whether they are active.
When you would use this: adding a new colleague, checking who last signed in, or switching somebody off when they leave — never deleted, so their name stays on everything they ever touched.
Adding one: a name, an email, a role you are allowed to grant (you can never hand out a rank higher than your own), and a department if your firm uses support. They get a login the moment you add them and set their own password from the link this sends — you never see or set it yourself.
Deactivating, not deleting: switching a colleague off stops them signing in; every record they created or was assigned keeps their name on it. Switching them back on restores access at the same role they had.
Seats: your plan may cap how many active staff you can have at once; the count at the top of the list shows where you stand, and a plan at its ceiling links straight to Your plan to upgrade.
A narrower view: none — everyone who can see this directory sees the same five columns and the same colleagues; inviting, deactivating and reactivating each need their own further capability, so a colleague who can see the directory day to day may not be able to add or switch anyone.
When it refuses: "You cannot add staff" or the active switch missing from a row means you can see the directory but not change it — ask an Owner or Admin. You can never grant a rank higher than your own, whatever capabilities your own role carries.
